Hosting & Server Logs (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 Pine Street, Suite 801, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA). When you access our pages, Vercel automatically records technical access data in server logs: your IP address (in shortened form), date and time of access, requested URL, data volume transferred, HTTP status code, and the browser and operating system used.

This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring the smooth operation of the website and detecting and preventing attacks. Vercel is contractually bound as a data processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in the EU or EEA; where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Logs are automatically deleted after 30 days at the latest.

Contact Form

When you contact us via the contact form, we collect the data you provide: your name, email address, optionally your phone number (voluntary) and the content of your message.

This data is processed solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry and – where your request is aimed at concluding a contract – on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures). Otherwise, we base the processing on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

Your data will not be shared with third parties. We store your contact data only for as long as is necessary to process your enquiry fully, after which it will be deleted unless statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Google Maps

On our contact page we embed Google Maps as an iFrame. The provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When the map loads, your browser transmits technical data (including your IP address) to Google servers, which may be located in the USA.

The embedding is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a user-friendly location view). We note that Google may process the transmitted data for its own purposes. Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. If you wish to prevent your data from being transmitted to Google, you can avoid using the map or configure your browser accordingly.
